Balen Shah is the Prime Minister of Nepal. Balen Shah was Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City from 2022 to 2026. He was independent candidate for the mayor and his election symbols was stick and won the competition. He exavates the old canals amd reconstruct the old temples and managed the footpath of Kathmandu Metropotitan city.
He married with Sabina Kafle. They have one daughter. His father was Aauyurberdic doctor. His father worked at Singhadurbar Bidyakhana.
He was born in Kathmandu Naradevi as the youngest son of Late Narayan Shah and Dhurbakumari Shah on 27 April 1990 A.D. He has completed his primary education from ajaljala Primary school, Naradevi and secondary education from V.S Niketan Teenkune. Before involved in politics he sang many rap songs and written articles.
He did his higher education from Whitehouse College and Did his masters degree in structural engineering from Bisheshworriya technical College Banglore India. After he completed his education he showed keen interest in structural design of various monuments of Kathmandu valley and other religious heritage. In the time of Gorkha earthquake in 2015 , he actively worked at various parts of the country.
Now, he is the senoir and prominent leader of Rastriya Swatantra Party Ra.Swa.Pa. He took the part in competition of member of parliament from the Jhapa constituency no.5 along with the former prime minister Khadga Prasad Oli from Ra. Swa.Pa.
After the Gen- Z movement he resigned from the Mayor post and come on the Central politics from Rastriya Swotantra Party and now he is elected as 43rd Prime Minister of Nepal. Many people are expecting good governance and economical growth from his ruling system.
